Shawn did a great job helping me find the right colleges to apply to after the difficulty in finding them myself. He also helped me make my writing supplements as strong as possible and find interesting topics to discuss. While the overall process was stressful, Shawn did a great job supporting me while pushing me to do my best and meet deadlines. If my writing was not up to par in some areas, he would let me know, and I’d work on it until it was the best. I needed somebody to push me in this process, and Shawn did this in a supportive way. He ultimately helped me get into my first choice college.

Shawn was the expert and partner we needed to help us navigate this world of therapy and programs for our teenage son while he was in crisis mode. It is overwhelming especially when we as parents we have conflicting styles, views. Shawn has felt like a member of our team for our son and was the mediator/communicator we needed.

Our 20 year old son was heavily addicted to drugs, dropped out of college, and seemed destined for jail or a drug-related death. While a rehab center seemed his best chance, the sheer volume of options was overwhelming. When we retained Shawn, he talked extensively to our son and us. He then provided three options, all of which fit our needs. His top suggestion was what we chose and I am happy to say our son just celebrated his one year anniversary of sobriety and is headed back to school. My family will be forever grateful to Shawn and I would recommend his services to anyone going through something similar.

While I write a lot in school, I felt lost trying to write my college essay and supplements alone because I knew I was not doing them in the style colleges expected.
