Martha Moses

Martha Moses (Certified Educational Planner) has guided thousands of students and families over the course of her decades-long career in education. Since 1966, she has served in various roles as a teacher, counselor, school director, college lecturer, and curriculum coordinator. Over the past 30 years, Martha has worked as a private counselor, providing comprehensive educational planning tailored to the unique circumstances of each student.

Martha received her bachelor’s degree in humanities from Emory University in Atlanta and her master’s degree in English and education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also completed post-master’s degree work in guidance and counseling.

She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) where she served on the national board as vice-president for conferences and as the special needs liaison to the Ethics committee, the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC), the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and many local community and civic organizations.

Martha is uniquely dedicated to every student and family who seeks her guidance. Over many decades, multi-generations of families have returned to Martha because of the transformative impact that her commitment has had on their lives. Martha will work tirelessly on behalf of your family, helping every student to clarify their dreams and realize their potential.  

Martha’s breadth of services spans the college search and application process, local and boarding school placement, evaluations and tests, and the placement of children with special needs. Alongside Shawn Farrell and Brooke Judkins (Ph.D., LPC), Martha supports a diversity of educational counseling needs at the elementary, secondary, college, and graduate school level.
